Locally Owned. Not Private Equity Controlled
Not all HVAC companies operating in Baldwin County are truly local — even if their name sounds like it.
Mallard Air is independently owned and locally operated. We are not a national chain, we are not owned by out-of-state investors, and we are not driven by corporate quotas.
What that means for you:
-
No pressure to upsell unnecessary equipment
-
No investor-driven decisions
-
No out-of-state call centers
-
No shortcuts that compromise long-term comfort
When you call Mallard Air, you’re working with people who live here, work here, and stand behind their work. Our reputation is built one home at a time.
Meet the Owners: Greg Roberts and Ethan Duncan
Greg Roberts, Co-owner
Greg was born and raised in the area. He and Ethan met while working at another HVAC company, and after that company was bought by private equity, the two of them started Mallard Air together as a locally owned alternative. Customers often work with Greg directly.
Ethan Duncan, Co-owner
Ethan started in the HVAC trade at an entry-level wage and worked his way up to building and running his own company. He talked about building Mallard Air from the ground up, and about hiring and training technicians, on the Explore HVAC & Home Services podcast.
Mallard Air, LLC holds Alabama HVAC contractor license AL# 2023131 and is BBB Accredited.
