Heating and Cooling in Central Baldwin County

Robertsdale was founded in 1905 after the L&N railroad came through, and it was named for B.F. Roberts of the company that laid out the town. By 1939 it was known as Baldwin County’s agricultural, poultry and shipping center. Today the city of about 6,700 people, which includes the Rosinton community, is home to the Baldwin County Coliseum and Fairgrounds, which has hosted the Baldwin County Fair since 2008. The city’s comprehensive plan notes that small-town character, good schools and a reasonable commute to Mobile are bringing new residents.

What We See in Robertsdale Homes

Rural and Older Properties

Older homes in and around town were often built before central air, and their ductwork was added later, sometimes in attics or crawlspaces that are hard to reach. On rural properties, outdoor units collect dust, grass clippings and pollen from nearby fields and pastures, which clogs coils and cuts efficiency. A coil cleaning during your yearly maintenance visit goes a long way.

Newer Subdivisions

Newer homes have modern equipment, but they still need regular drain cleaning and filter changes in this humidity. If your new house has rooms that never quite cool down, the cause is usually airflow, and we can find it.

Services for Robertsdale and Rosinton

AC repair, system replacement, heat pumps, heating, ductwork and indoor air quality. Schedule a fall tune-up before winter. Inland nights get colder than on the bay, so a heat pump that struggles shows it here first.
